Blacktie-Arizona "Food, Finance & Fundraising Ideas"
Being true to its mission of "bringing together nonprofits and the people who support them," Blacktie-Arizona brought together its preferred vendors and several nonprofit executives for the purpose of giving a brief overview of Blacktie-Arizona, introducing PURE Sushi Bar & Dining--the new Scottsdale Mall location--and connecting people who can help each other.
Deborah Lavinsky, financial consultant at Eide Bailly, provided tips about fundraising in a recession, and Carolyn Ashby introduced a new fundraising opportunity for nonprofits.
There were some generous raffle items, original tasty desserts and lots of connections made during the afternoon.
