Blacktie-Arizona Reception " How Nonprofits Can Save Costs Through Technology

On Thursday, May 13, 2010, The Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa hosted a reception for Blacktie-Arizona, where several Valley nonprofit executive directors and Blacktie's preferred vendors came together for networking and information in the historic Aztec Ballroom.

Kenton Kuhn, CEO and founder of Blacktie, LLC, was on hand from the Denver headquarters, and spoke briefly about the 50 tools and services that Blacktie provides its member organizations.

New partner, National Bank of Arizona, was represented by Deborah Bateman, executive vice president of Specialty Banking and Marketing, and Pamela Keefe, vice president and Not-For-Profit Relationship Manager.  National Bank of Arizona is a great friend to Valley nonprofits, banks over 2300 nonprofit organizations in Arizona and is the only Arizona bank giving interest on their checking accounts.

Arizona Biltmore Resort's General Manager, Andrew Stegen, graciously moved around the room to introduce himself and welcome all the guests.

Blacktie-Arizona is the nonprofit event planning website to facilitate communications among the Arizona nonprofit organizations and their patrons. They offer more than 50 tools and services available to the nonprofit community, including an event calendar for planning and scheduling special events, online RSVP management, newsletter templates, save-the-date templates, online auction bidding templates, photo/story coverage of their events, nametag creation, donor profiles, electronic seating charts, etc. etc.

Blacktie is now in 9 markets throughout the country---soon to be 10.  Founded 10 years ago in Denver, the Arizona office has just celebrated its 5th anniversary with a completely revamped and improved website.
