On Sunday, November 7, 2010, the Harp Foundation held its 5th Annual Harps in the Garden event while guests strolled the beautiful pathways at Cille & Vern Swaback's magnificent Scottsdale gardens.

While several harpists played throughout the gardens at sunset, guests enjoyed wine and an array of delicacies and enjoyed the soothing, therapeutic sounds.

During the evening, many generous contributors and supporters were introduced and thanked for helping the foundation touch so many lives of those enduring their personal time of crises or special need.

Dr Nabil Dib, renowned cardiovascular researcher and doctor, who for more than 10 years has been developing the newest investigational treatments for advanced cardiovascular disease--including adult stem cells--spoke about the progress in the field.

Linda Hunt, Service Area President of CHW Arizona and President of St. Joseph's Hospital & Medical Center in Phoenix, was named Person of the Year.  Graciously accepting her award was Martin Breeden, VP Mission Integration for Catholic Healthcare West.

Bridging healthcare and spirituality with the therapeutic sounds of the harp, The Harp Foundation has provided more than 60,000 hours of therapeutic harp music to hundreds of thousands of critically ill and medically fragile patients and their families in hospitals, hospice care units, assisted-living facilities, care centers, retirement communities and personal home settings in the greater Phoenix metro area since May 2000.
