The 22nd Annual Planned Giving Conference was held on May 16, 2016 at Phoenix Country Club.
The conference began at 8:30 a.m. with Philip Cubeta, CLU, ChFC, CAP, breakfast keynote speaker, talking about "Inspired Philanthropy for Highest Capacity Donors."
Other speakers throughout the day included: Robert F. Sharpe, Jr. on "The Future of Chiritable Gift Planning," Lani Starkey, JD, LLM, CPA, on "The 8 Ways to Ask for Gifts: Expanding the Art and Science of the Solicitation," Randy Huston on "The Reinvention and Re-branding of a Classic: Forget Everything You Think You Know About Charitable Lead Trusts," Claudia Sangster, JD, on "Stewardship for Affluent Families," Ramsay Slugg on "Business Succession Planning With A Charitable Twist," Ron Schiller on "Positioning for Partnership," Philip Cubeta on "Meet the Rileys," Vince Fraumeni on "Are You Promoting and Accepting Gifts of Real Estate?" and Ann Siner on "Philanthropy from a Philanthropist's Perspective."
